Reviews and Ratings
The hotel location was fantastic, close to everything we wanted to visit, but the rooms were very dark and smaller than expected. The hotel was noisy at night, and the attempt to scam us for a refund was not ideal. However, the service was exceptional, going above-and-beyond to assist with extras and accommodating special requests. The traditional Mexican food was delicious. The hotel's location was perfect and in the center of most attractions in Mexico City. The dining experience was excellent with high-quality dishes. The facilities were rather limited, and the hotel lacked proper air circulation in the rooms.
The hotel was a bit disappointing overall. While the rooms had their own coffee shop, restaurant, and rooftop bar, the coffee shop's pastries were below par, and the rooms felt stuffy from the lobby to the hallway. The service, although helpful, had some issues like lied about a taxi arrival, and the location, although central, was confusing. The dining experience with poor coffee and cold dishes didn't meet expectations.
Staying at this hotel was a good experience overall. The location was perfect for exploring the streets of Mexico City, although it was a bit confusing due to its city center positioning. The rooms provided a nice retreat after long walks, but they were not exactly as expected.
My stay at this hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms, without AC, felt tiny and not as described, dark and noisy at night, with an unpleasant interaction when trying to get a refund. On the bright side, the service was lovely, always being helpful and creating a nice atmosphere. The location, despite being somewhat noisy, was convenient for exploring Mexico City's historic downtown. The dining options were a mix of good and bad, and the facilities had their strengths and weaknesses.
My stay at the hotel was full of contrasts. While the location was superb, right in the heart of Mexico City and close to major attractions, the room fell short of expectations. It felt dark and smaller than described, making it somewhat oppressive. The noise at night was bothersome, and the lack of AC was a significant drawback. On top of that, the front desk attendant's attempt to scam us when requesting a refund left a sour taste.
This hotel had beautiful rooms, but it was a letdown that they didn't have air conditioning and the double bed was located in a loft only accessible by a steep ladder. The service was friendly, but there was an unfortunate incident of being misled about a taxi which caused inconvenience. The location was good, situated in historical downtown Mexico City. The dining options were a bit limited, but the quality was excellent. Facilities were overall good but had some maintenance issues with the taps in the bathroom.
